Report on fatal mine accident released
The federal Mine Safety and Health Administration has released a preliminary report of an accident which left a coal miner dead Thursday. Jessie Adkins, 39, of Belington, died in an accident at Consol Energys Loveridge mine Thursday. He is survived by his wife, Melissa, and two teenage children.
