Villains win 4 of 5
The Albertville Villains continued to play solid baseball on their way to posting four victories. The Villains defeated the Elk River Pioneers by the score of 8-1. Pat Lenton and David Borchardt limited the Pioneers offense to 3 hits and only one run as the Villains pounded out 12 hits. Borchardt, Jim Althoff and Brian Lampert each had two hits to pace Albertville.
